close range. I thought it really showed cavitation and energy
dissipation well (such as for a trauma kinematics lecture).

This person was making small pipe bombs at his home, when one detonated in his hand.  This picture was taken about half way through the repair process. blast

These are 3-D CT scans of a belted driver who was hit head on, and struck her mouth against the steering wheel.  The "moustache fracture" lines are visible from the side of the nose to the corners of the
mouth.

Nail from a nail gun through the hand.  Note: nails from a gun frequently have a barb in the midshaft area from the small wires that hold them together in a band.  This can cause additional tissue trauma during removal.   Nailed
